Common new patient questions.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Bring a photo ID, your insurance card if you have dental coverage, and a list of any medications you're currently taking. If you have recent X-rays from a previous dentist, having those sent ahead can help too.
Do you accept my dental insurance?
We'll help you file your insurance claims. We're in network with AlwaysCare, Delta Dental PPO and Premier, Humana, MetLife, UnitedHealthcare, and Carrington. If you don't see your plan, call our office — we'll check your benefits for you before your visit.
How long does a first visit take?
A first visit typically takes 60 to 90 minutes, which gives us time for a full exam, any needed X-rays, and an unhurried conversation about your goals and any concerns.
Do you see patients who are nervous about the dentist?
Yes. Dental anxiety is common, and we take it seriously. Let us know when you book, and we'll take extra time to explain each step and go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
Can I complete new patient paperwork before I arrive?
Call our office and we can go over your information by phone or arrange for forms ahead of your visit. Otherwise, just arrive about 15 minutes early and our team will help you get set up.
